Club activities.
Alongside members pursuing their own projects, the club organises short courses and introduction to new technique sessions, life drawing classes most weeks, demonstrations, and regular sketching trips and visits to galleries and sites of interest. There are occasional art events at weekends or in the evening. A full programme of classes and activities is produced every four months.
The club provides free drawing paper for use in club time and has a supply of art materials which can be used in club sessions.
Tea and coffee are provided as part of the weekly entry fee and the club has gained a reputation for the excellent cake which is also provided free of charge. Tea, Coffee, and biscuits are still provided free but there is a voluntary member’s rota for providing the cake.
